Border Blades Figure Skating Club is looking for a coach to be preapproved to coach private lessons on our club ice in Grafton for the 2024-2025 season (October - March). The ideal candidate will be an experienced USFS private lesson coach in the areas of Moves-In-The-Field, Freeskate, and Dance. The candidate must have an understanding of current USFS skating rules and requirements. The preferred candidates should have strong communication skills, be organized and able to work with a wide variety of personalities. 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be a member of USFS as a fully licensed coach.
• Insured as required by USFS.
• Knowledge in USFS skating rules.
• Any needed Certifications have been passed.
• Be in good standing with their current primary club, if applicable
• Great communication skills
• Ability to work weekend hours and travel to competitions with skaters
• Safe Sport training will be required

Lessons will be given Wednesday evenings and Saturday mornings, Sunday early evening is optional. Pay rate is set by our approved coaches.
