Skaters who will be representing Border Blades Figure Skating Club at testing, competitions, or on a synchronized skating team. Your first skater is the primary and any other skaters in your family can register as secondary for a reduced rate.
A transitional membership to support new skaters as they transition from Learn to Skate or other basic programs to club membership for private lessons, testing, or competitive synchronized skating teams. This membership can be maintained for 1 year before the skater moves to a Home Club Membership. Introductory members have the same volunteer and fundraising requirements as a Home Club Member.
This membership is a 1-year discounted rate for skaters who have never registered with U.S. Figure Skating and do not have a USFS number.
An associate member is someone where another skating club holds their primary USFS membership and would like to participate in Border Blades Figure Skating Club programs. They receive reduced rates on programs. They also receive a higher priority than non-members for testing but lower than primary members.
A Learn to Skate membership allows you to register your skater for any Grafton Learn to Skate, non-USFS testing Aspire skaters and Ruby Blades Synchro Line programs. This covers just the $25 Border Blades FSC family fee.
Heading to college and still want to skate, finish some tests or just stay on the ice? Take advantage of this discounted membership offered by USFS! First year membership cost includes 4 year USFS membership.
Reserved primarily for Board of Directors members, are voting members of the club but have no skating privileges. These members are exempt from all volunteer requirements.
Use the chart below to choose the membership that fits the program you are in. See above for more information about each membership type.
Be sure to choose the first membership in the list that applies. For example, you are in Aspire but also take Private Lessons, then choose the Private Lesson membership.
Choose membership based on what you will participate in during the fall/winter. If you are in summer Aspire, but plan to take private lessons in the fall, then choose the private lesson membership.
You only need 1 membership per year.
